This is compatible with Atomos XLR Breakout Cable that comes included with the Shogun. Featuring two XLR inputs/two XLR outputs, this cable allows you to record analog audio from external sources directly to the Shogun while at the same time monitoring the audio on separate speakers via the outputs. Record from XLR mics, mixers, and all other XLR audio equipment. Full balanced XLR, line/mic, and phantom power input.2-channel balanced output. Good cable done wrong

I bought this cable because it was cheaper than ATOMOS cable. The cable I received was not manufactured correctly. It works, but the inputs and outputs are swapped. I need to use gender changes for this cable to work.

Works like the original, only half the price!

Works as expected. Breakthrough XLR uses an Atomos Inferno with direct line from a theater mixer. Good quality and recommended. A bit tired of 3rd party cables at first but works just like the original! The XLR works as it should. I would recommend getting one as it's half the price of an XLR cable direct from Atomos.

Incorrect wiring/shielding!

Disappointing! The previous reviewer was right and whoever made this cable didn't understand how to assemble shielded cables for analog microphones (you can find it on google in 1 minute). You used shielded cable but did not connect the shield to anything. Instead, a separate third wire (core) is used in each cable for grounding (in addition to the normal +/- balanced signal cores). Totally confusing as that third strand even makes each cable thicker than necessary (cramming everything into a…
