A Cut Above: Amana's Superior Router Bit

As an avid DIYer, I've tried countless router bits. The Amana Carbide Cutting Roundover Beadboard is my go-to for professional and polished finishes. The industrial strength ensures longevity and precision, even through the toughest materials. The sharpness and consistency of each cut never disappoint, which is a huge plus during long projects. The only downside is the higher price point, but the quality of the bit is worth the investment in the long run. Overall, Amana's router bit never lets…

Pros
  • High-quality carbide material ensures durability and longevity.
Cons
  • Requires some experience in woodworking to achieve a seamless finish.

Expensive but good quality

This drill bit was just what I needed to create an 1/8" through hole on a surface where I couldn't use the spare bit due to access. Put the guide on my router at medium speed and the cut will be very smooth and precise. Tiny as expected but very impressive so far

Pros
  • Excellent overall
Cons
  • Doubtful

Leave a smooth finish on the plastic.

I use this router for CNC plastics with great results. The surface quality is clean and smooth, although care should be taken when applying speed (rpm) and feed (ipm or ipm). If you move too slowly, the plastic will melt and the shavings won't come out. Be sure to test before you start.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly chipped
