The fan shaft had one opposite two flat surfaces for set screws. The existing fan had two set screws, but both were screwed in and held up well. If using an existing fan, remove (grind/sand) any rust/corrosion from the old motor shaft to make it easier to remove. The wires were the same length and color as the original ones, but thinner.

Item delivered not exactly as pictured but correct part. The fan motor is perfect for my 2.5 ton 14 year old Goodman air conditioner and relatively easy to install. The delivery was on time, the product was repackaged and at a reasonable price. Saved me from finding a local HVAC supplier that sells parts direct to consumers.

It was a larger engine than I ordered. The engine was thicker. I was unhappy but my client needed air conditioning. I finally got it working, but it's also heavier than it should have been on the device. Even after trimming the shaft (which is normal) it still hangs lower than the right one, had to adjust the blades to avoid hitting the roller tubes, which I don't recommend. The one in the picture is what the eldest looked like, not what appeared. I didn't have time to take care of the return.
