Disappointing Performance from Aluminum Router Bit

According to my experience this router bit did not live up TO its advertised capabilities. While it was able to cut through aluminum, the results were far from satisfactory. The bit left rough edges and uneven cuts, making it difficult to achieve a clean finish. The only pro would be that it didn't break during use .However, the poor results outweigh that small benefit. I would not recommend this bit for anyone looking to achieve a professional-grade cut on aluminum..

Pros
  • Not cheap but decent
Cons
  • Set of factors

Spicy. Spicy. and really great haircut.

did I mention you're sharp?. I just stumbled trying to change a bit on my CNC and spent a week reminding myself to be careful. They are used on HDPE on my CNC and the cut is amazing. I don't think I used them with aluminum which was my intention when I bought them. Will try to upgrade to aluminum after use.
