I marked 6 areas for pivot bolts to connect some countertops. It worked great but was pretty much chipped by the time I was done. There was no difference in the sections treated, but I don't know how long it will last after that. It was slippery during use but for $30 I'm disappointed that it broke so badly.
This works very well. This is the shortest of the two I've bought. It goes well with my homemade Wood Whisperer style dado jig. The first bit I bought was too long but found many other uses. It's easier than the straight bit and template guide that a lot of people use, but it's a bit more expensive. Conclusion - I recommend.
the little guy managed to cut over 30 half deep grooves in 3/4 thick Baltic birch plywood before it started to dull - even then it did the job. If I hit him with a diamond stone, he will return immediately. Decent cutter and good quality carbide - no chipping or edge wear after fairly hard work. and the lager is still in great shape, not crispy at all. Would buy again although I usually prefer Whiteside.
