I used this to cut a slab of walnut from 3" to 2". Worked great. Couldn't be happier. I was afraid it would fade before I finished it, but it held up great. I also used it to carve two more pieces of wood of different hardness. It cut through the wood like butter. I had no idea how hard the wood was until I used a sander and had to use 60 grit to get some shavings.
I don't usually take the time to write reviews (especially consumables) but this thing is amazing! It's very competitively priced for this quality and cuts through wood and epoxy with little to no tearing/burning/etc. I usually had to spend a good hour designing the router's labels and after receiving this bit it takes about 5 minutes!
There are many carbide cutters on the market that can flatten the spoiler but I couldn't find any that could do the job for the price anywhere near the price of this one Amana cutters. I bought a CNC router from Rockler but they didn't have a 1/4" wave cutter to line up the spoiler board. I used this Amana cutter once and it worked great. I assume my spoilerboard only needs to be re-rendered 1 or 2 times. once a year, so my needs don't require an expensive cutter head with multiple 4-sided…
