This air conditioner is equipped with a powerful fan that blows cold air very quietly. I love shopping at AMAZON and get great discounts on many items.

I dialed 12,000 and it works great. I've been using it for over a month now and most of the time we have temperatures above 100°. It works so well that I wear sweatpants and a hoodie at home. I really liked the insulating parts that came with it. Not the quietest, but not the loudest either. In any case, I prefer cold temperatures to everything else. I can send it to the right temperature. Set it to automatic and it will do the rest.

Purchased 4th June 2020, used over the summer. After 1 week it kept turning off in the middle of the night (sleep timer or whatever wasn't activated). 12,000 BTU Delivered on time by Revain. I heard a BLOW on my deck, the driver didn't lower it too carefully but it didn't seem to cause any damage. It only took 30 minutes from opening the box to full installation. I recommend 2 people to lift as the unit is heavy. Update - The control panel on the block broke down just before the return window. The remote control is still working, so the device is still cooling down. I hope the remote doesn't fail either. Changing my rating from 5 to 2 stars as the device is still working. But failure of the control panel in the first 40 days of use can be a bad omen. Amana is on my list not to buy. Unit has not been damaged, dropped etc. Fan did not work right out of the box. I could hear the fan trying to turn on and the rest of the unit was getting power, it was just that the fan wasn't blowing air at all. So I took it out the window again and opened the suitcase. Looking inside, I found the problem. It wasn't like the fan was dead/broken. They were the ones who used very cheap styrofoam to cover the fan.
