Like a lot of other people I mounted these on my Cub Cadet ZT2 mower oh my god it saved my back from bumps. BEST upgrade for the price.

For some reason Cub Cadet thought it would be fun to use a brick under the seat on their Zero Twist mowers and then call it 'hanger' . Pulled out two bricks. .replaced with these springs and MAN makes the difference!

In case anyone is wondering, the spring rate for these springs is approximately 120 lb/in. I measured them to see how much softer they are compared to the Original Equipment Cub Cadet zero twist plastic bumpers. I measured the stiffness of the Cub Cadet bumpers at 210 lb/in. That is 43% less spring. Hopefully this will be a noticeable improvement in turn zero performance.

I have a Cub Cadet ZT1 zero twist mower and the plastic shock absorbers that come with it are very uncomfortable and due to my back injury riding it for a long time was unbearable. . I replaced them with these and it's the difference between day and night. Now I can mow for 3 hours straight and my back is fine. So if you need to replace your mower springs, I suggest trying them out.

Bought these when I read someone wrote about replacing the ones that came with the lawn mower and have had good results.
