Now my only choice is cotton!

These are the best little cotton balls! They are very soft and absorb cleaning water strongly while retaining moisture. I can use it to remove makeup and I only need one as they are actually quite big! I've also used them to apply my favorite toner and I've used them to moisten nail polish before! They're cheap and I really like them.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Crumpled

Less than a hundred per pack

Luckily I decided at the last minute to try a pack of Solimo Q-tips rather than offering multiple packs and having used several I probably won't buy them again. These are just cotton circles but I don't think they are any better or as good as others available for purchase. It's true that the packaging says they're made in the USA and they're really very soft and very white, but they're nothing special, just average. The folded edge holds them together and they absorb moisture, but then again…

Breaks down easily on cotton balls and swabs

Claims on this cotton ball are as follows (copied and pasted from product description): for all your skincare and beauty needs. "I agree they're soft, but they're definitely not strong. The cotton stretches and then separates into two worn pieces with little effort or pressure as I gently slide over the product that I lightly apply to these cotton circles. With a Q-Tip from other brands I've tried, I need about two or three of these. If there's anything positive about these cotton tours, it's…

Great alternative to cotton balls!

We use them to apply an astringent to our face after washing/showering. The cartridges are very absorbent and are of the same quality as other well-known brands. They even hold up well on my husband's face when he uses them and his mustache doesn't rip circle leaving his face completely covered with cotton like cotton balls do. The only downside is what makes them great: they absorb so much that I just have to be careful when applying the astringent lest I overload it by taking in more than I…

Excellent quality fits tools and accessories

I bought these to use as reusable Tux witch hazel pads. Tuxedo liners help relieve hemorrhoids and my whole family uses them, but they cost about $10 for a 50-piece plastic jar. πŸ‘ŽπŸΌ Not eco-friendly at all. So I bought them to fill a glass. Tried it with water today to test absorbency and it works great! Perfect for what I need. The highest quality textured cotton pads I have ever purchased.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Safety

Man: Stuck in stubble

I am a man who shaves every day or two depending on my schedule. I use a Braun electric shaver with Proraso shaving cream for a smooth and clean shave. Then I use Tend Skin so I needed these cotton pads. Well, it turns out those cotton balls got caught on my [very small, freshly shaved] stubble and just fell apart. It's annoying. Use it once and I threw it away. This might be great for women, but men, keep looking. I think Wegmans or CVS had the ones that stayed together; although not as soft.

  • Confident

  • Something is wrong
