Good shorts - fit my 7 year old son very well who is tall and skinny. They are lightweight, ideal for packing and for those warm spring/summer days. I ordered 2 packs of navy blue and red but instead came 2 packs of medium gray and light lime green. I was considering swapping, but my son really likes these "surprise" colors, especially the bright lime green, so I just kept them. Okay my son is almost 7 and the size of a 9 year old and weighs about 100 pounds he is definitely a husky. I usually buy size L/XL for this type of shorts depending on how they look and the big size is usually 10-12 so unfortunately I looked at the size chart wrong lol. Where the age was listed I thought it meant US size and after reading the reviews I thought they ran small but I'm here to let you know they don't run small at all actually think I that they are true to size if not a bit larger.

I bought these for my 6 year old but as there is no size chart I ordered based on reviews. Large clearly says size 10 on arrival. So I have to give them to my 8 year old. So it's frustrating, but the quality is great, especially for the price.
