My daughter usually wears medium and medium sized children's clothes. I read the reviews and saw that they are on the skinny side and long so I ordered a few sizes up. The waist fits her but as others have said it was about a foot too long. If your child is very skinny/skunky this is for him. My daughter said they kept her dry and warm during the 40 minutes we spent in the snow. But she wasn't particularly active. She mostly knelt down and made snow angels.

Pros: thick and durable. Warm feeling. Adjustable with pockets. Great length and movement. Cons: large size. My 8 year old swims in the area. She is wearing 7/8 pants. She can pull them up to her chest they are so big. I should have ordered a small one. They can be snug enough to stay on your feet, but they're baggy on her. I would like to think that we will get another year from them. She can sit in the snow and not get wet. If your child is between sizes, go one size down.

Excellent quality and exactly as pictured and expected. My 6 year old is a little above average so I decided to order a size up and it was the best decision. The pants are loose but there are velcro straps on the sides of the belt that can be adjusted, a great addition! Love the quality of the pants, they were a bit big but I ended up buttoning them up so it didn't matter much. I would definitely buy again, they serve their purpose

The color is bright, the material is of excellent quality. Highly recommended. Some buyers suggested going up a size but I ordered a normal size and it fits perfectly.

I'm 36 years old and 5'0" pants is the wavelength, but I wear all pants. I have a Husky XL and they have enough room in the waist and body to wear multiple layers underneath. These pants definitely can worn by adults and are much cheaper!

I'm only giving it 4 stars because of the lack of clarity about the dimensions. I originally ordered the medium because my daughter wears a size 6x instead of a 7. I read another review that said the large size is perfect for her 7 year old and another said they are tight in the hips. When the pants arrived the label said average size and age 8. I bought these pants for my daughter. She wore them 3 times and the clasp broke completely. The only good thing about this product is that they are warm, but other than that they don't hold up well.

Wow just wow! I did not expect such a value, but I will say that I am very glad that I took the risk. My daughter who is very leggy and tall for a 9 year old has a really hard time finding clothes that don't come off the hanger but she did not disappoint. They are perfect with room to grow, in fact they will last at least 2 seasons if not 3! They are waterproof, warm, durable and fashionable. In fact, she fell in love with them the moment she put them on. Excellent work!

I will definitely buy a size up next year. The color is fun, they're easy to clean and will last outdoors all winter. They are very plump but don't bother my daughter when she walks and plays. The side velcro straps made it very easy and comfortable for her to put on. It keeps you warm all day long!

It seems a bit small - glad I increased the size so my daughter can easily layer and grow a bit. You could do 2 seasons! She stayed warm and dry as she played in the snow.

Not only are they very cute for winter, they are also very well made. The adjustable waist is a life saver and a great addition. Fully padded and soft. Not sure who they are for, but not for a proportional child. The waist is insanely small while the hips, hips and length are huge.

The waist is disproportionately small. Only for some jobs does a very thin waist fit. My 6 year old fits fine then but she is very small.

The quality seems ok... They came covered with hair and I ordered new, unused and unworn. Either this is a return or the stock is disgusting... Seriously, they could at least roll up the villi before packing...

Worked great all day! Personally I can't speak for warmth and comfort but my 6 year old son has never complained about being cold or uncomfortable. Well I would say these pants did it!
