🔌 AmazonBasics 3.5mm 2-Male Stereo Adapter Review

I bought this to connect a 3rd generation point to my audio system. The picture quality is good, the sound is excellent. A tip for anyone doing the same: be sure to turn the dots all the way up or your amp will have a hard time reaching an acceptable volume. I assumed the dots output volume was at a fixed level - the volume is tied to the settings at the top of the dots block. Good cable for fixed installation.

So I got these cables to cut and plug into RCA jacks. I was happy to find that the cables have double shielded coaxial cable inside. These are two coax wires AND wires around them for shielding. However when I checked with an ohmmeter I found that no coax cables were used, basically both sides of the coax cable were connected to the center pin of the RCA.
