Excellent picture but it was possible to display only 1 channel?

In exchange for this review, I received a Revain Basics HDTV Digital Amplified Outdoor TV Antenna with Mounting Stand - 360 degree rotation, 150 mile range. We were hoping we could "cut the cord" and save a bunch of bucks while still being able to see large networks from 2 cities about 60 miles in opposite directions from our home. This was our experience. Installation was fairly easy, although the supplied screws for attaching the antenna were quite thick and therefore quite difficult to screw

rejection. Requires power to capture channels.

This item is defective. The main reason is that this product needs a power supply to operate, and this power supply must be close to the antenna. Nobody has outlets on rooftops and few have them in attics, so I don't know what people were thinking. This is a fatal design flaw. Power is supplied via coaxial cable. I tried putting a power supply in my office but it didn't work. I installed surge protectors and ground wires along my coax cables to protect my house from lightning strikes. So itโ€ฆ

Working perfectly, some functions not described

This is a large antenna that mounts on the roof or in my case the pole I used for DirecTV before I gave it up. The antenna is installed perfectly and I used the existing coax cabling so the installation was very easy for me. A fairly long coaxial cable for outdoor use is included for installation, as well as a smaller white cable that leads from the box to the TV tuner. The amplifier box needs power and is quite thick. It has a button at the top and it comes with a remote control and there isโ€ฆ

No improvement over my previous installation

BLUF: I installed a 2 antenna antenna (Clearstream) at the 8ft+ mark of my loft a long time ago. I currently get about 30 channels with it (including simulcast) but I was only able to receive local PBS (4 simulcasts) with it in the same configuration. Lots of details below if you're interested: The construction and design of this is pretty good (except I don't know if it actually works that well, or at least not what I expected). It's a technical marvel in itself that all of these things fit in
