Works very well - Drain Augers

The day I received them I put one of these on the sink in my master bathroom. Pulled out so much Gook I used a second one which also pulled out more Gook. The sink now drains the water perfectly. Recommended. It's not a big problem for me that they work.

Seems to work - Rough Install

I won't pretend to know what I'm doing because I don't! But they seemed to work and pull out what was stuck. We found that our drain pipes were too damaged to be 100% working and in need of replacement, but I would rather use this than anything else I found online.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Upgradable

For unclogging sinks in sewage treatment plants

They were perfect for what we needed them for. My daughter has very curly hair and it clogs the sink a few times a year. Once the water begins to drain, I grab one of these and pull out clumps of dirt within a few minutes. Works great. Now we always keep them in the closet.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Interchangeable

Does the job and you can throw it away!

This product is great for cleaning our drains especially hair and other debris. It's flexible, the prongs are fishhook-like and will grab anything it touches, and it's easy to insert into multiple different sides of the drain. Notches make cleaning difficult, but you can do it if you wish. Also, some just break off. I order packs of 12 and just throw each one away after use - I use them on all 6 sinks in the house once a month and then throw them away.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not sure

Get the one that spins

If you don't want to pull your hair out of the drain after using it, you'd better use a snake drain spinning in the drain. all clumps out of your drain, but if you have a plug that doesn't come off easily, hair will get stuck in the plug while you pull the snake out. I used another brand that rotates (essentially causes the hair to wrap around the snake and stick like glue) and keeps the hair from getting stuck in the drain plug. Don't skimp if you don't want your sink to look dirty.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
