AmazonBasics Dustpan Broom Blue White Review

Pieces don't stick together, shovel is terrible. It has a hump that is not easy to push dirt through due to the angle of the handle. How hard is it to make a decent broom and dustpan? This is not a new concept. Two stars because the broom sweeps as long as it stays together.

Brush base twists too much with each use. You have to constantly flip it backwards to sweep the entire room. The base of the broom is very small and won't sweep anything heavier than a small nail. The shovel does not collect dust. The neck of the pot is either too thick or not close enough to the bottom to pour heavily on it. Too expensive for such an effort.

The handle is surprisingly strong, but the brush itself is ridiculously narrow and needlessly springy! Imagine sweeping to collect the dirt in the pan, but instead throwing that dirt across the room. Yes, SPRING! At least not helpful. Also, the brush part unscrews with each hit, so you have to screw it back on after 3 hits. Aggravating. Unfortunately I have exceeded the return period. I was shocked when it arrived packed in pieces. WHY do we need to collect something as simple as a broom?
