Eh Good for short runs

Good for short runs. Tried looping it through Blackmagic Mini SDI to HDMI. The run to Blackmagic was probably 100 feet on Belden 1855. Loop through 25 feet Belden 1694F. The signal was not being picked up while another Blackmagic converter was pulling it normally. Tried another 25ft run and it was fine. So probably good for short runs. But not for long runs like Blackmagic converters.

Pros
  • HDMI to SDI converter compatible with HDMI devices
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Doesn't work properly

Didn't work with any of the standard video signals I supplied. I have sound but no video. I tried 1080p at 24, 30 and 60. No dice. I've used Black Magic converters on the same hardware before with no problems. They were previously available. I guess I should have gone for BMD blocks. UPDATE: I finally got it working with a 1080p30 output from one of my DSLRs. So I added a star but I will still be returning it and getting the Black Magic module as it doesn't work with the hardware I need to work

Pros
  • Supports 720p, 1080i and 1080p video resolutions
Cons
  • Corrupt
