max TV weight = 55 lbs

I recently bought a new 65" TV and ordered a 32-65" swivel TV stand from Revain Basics. Unfortunately, nowhere on Revain's website does it say that the stand is only rated for a TV with a maximum weight of 55 pounds. I only discovered this limitation after opening the box and reading the instruction manual, and even there it is in small print. Revain needs to better highlight this important specification on its website so customers don't order the wrong product. Since my TV weighs over 55…

It's worth it. Excellent price.

Revane is a man! This is a quality wall mount at a great price! I was concerned it might be cheap or feel inappropriate. No Bone! It's legal. It's fully articulated, allowing it to move in almost any direction up/down, side to side, tilt, and provide multiple viewing angles. It's also very well built. It's a durable metal with reinforced hinges. This is not idleness, this attachment means business. Installation was relatively painless, it helps to have a second person when trying to…

Fits mounts $100 and up

Fits mounts $100 and up. Easy Installation - I was able to install and assemble my 37 inch TV without any help. A second person may be required for larger TVs. The device mounts vertically on a wall stud - finding the stud is the only problem. Since the sockets are nailed to the post, I found the post by drilling about 1 inch into the dowel. To ensure the wall panel is level, add a top screw; level, then the bottom screw. Middle screw last. The height information is too complicated. Since the…

High quality TV wall mount, easy to assemble by one person

This is a well designed, high quality TV mount. The metal parts move smoothly with no play, and the powder black finish looks beautiful. Liked the quality and ease of installation. You can adjust the tension on the swing arm so that the resistance is gentle and even and the TV stays in place. One important detail every DIYer wants to know is how do I hook up a TV to a wall mount or assemble everything (TV and all) and then try to wall mount it? Do I need a buddy to lift everything up for the…

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Frequency

The mounting screws for this unit are cheap junk and cut into the wall, yes we drilled a 5/32 pilot. Trouble is, we put it down the chimney of a very expensive ship. When cut, it twisted and damaged the ship's deck. To fix this we now need to remove the mantel and plumbing, replace all trim, cornices and mantel tiles, and then replace the ship sign from top to bottom due to the color matching. This will easily hit $2,000 since the Revain is cheaper than $.25 bolts with a .06 cent scrap cast…

Poorly designed tilt/tilt locking mechanism

The positive thing about this particular Revain mount, which appears to be made specifically for Revain, is the price. In fact, it all ends here. This is a tilting wall mount for TVs from 15" to 39". I've installed about 100 or more wall mounts in the last five years and this has to be some of the worst quality I've ever used. After setting up and attaching the TV to the wall bracket, the TV immediately tilts forward as far as the tilting mechanism allows. does not lie flat against the wall. He

Great price, lots of options, setup a little confusing

It was a surprisingly secure mount, although I have to say it was a bit tricky to set up using a standard 400x400 Vesa pattern my Samsung had a 50 inch 4K UHDTV (UN50KU6300 to be precise). Pros: - Can be used with just 1 bolt if needed - Offers full range of motion and tilt in a very compact design and half the price of competitor options - Very versatile with lots of different screws and spacers included it should fit almost anything in its size Offer. Cons: - Somewhat unclear/confusing…
