This TV wall mount is easy to assemble and has many adjustments to support from 50-50 to VESA 200-200mm. I'm not sure about the 40 lb weight limit but it easily supports my 20 lb 32 inch TV. The wall mount is strong when mounted on a stand under drywall. But the connection of the frame with the wall mount is quite weak and cannot be tightened.
