Compatible with Canon 550D/T2i Video

I needed to remotely activate video start/stop on my Canon 550D/T2i, so I took a chance using this remote control, although many people said the Video activation would not work because video is not activated by pressing the shutter button. When I received the remote control and took it out of the plastic case, it was covered in some gritty dust that was difficult to shake off, especially on the rubber button. ALMOST as good as the Canon RC-6 except for one thing

I bought one of these to replace my old Canon RC-1. To my surprise, it works with all three of my current cameras: 5Diii, 7D and Rebel T3i (I only wanted to use it with Rebel T3i). The button is large and the battery is easy to change (but not as easy to open as the RC-1). I also bought a Canon RC-6 ($10 more) and found that while they both work with all three cameras, the Revain Basics version doesn't have an obvious way to use them for instant photography. I bought a Canon RC-6 wireless remote to compare with a RevainBasics wireless remote for Canon DSLRs.
