The bottles close well.

Repeat order. I ordered 3 boxes of 12 amber bottles. Received 2 boxes of amber bottles and 1 box of clear bottles. In this case, this is not a violation of the conditions for future orders. But this order gets 4 stars, not 5.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Nothing here

Good quality good for kitchen and dining room

Love them for brewing the second fermentation (aromatic cycle) of my kombucha. Slight learning curve for using the lid. I would advise beginner brewers to chill beer before opening fresh beer. I opened a mango teaspoon and it flew straight to my ceiling 😂

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Not what it used to be

I received several batches of these bottles for my home projects but this last batch was not up to scratch. The lids were irregular and had to be bent to fit the bottle to fit, and the bottle felt thinner like it was made out of less material. I was almost afraid to use it for fear it would snap or explode under pressure. I hope the manufacturer goes back to their original product or I will have to look for another supplier.

Great product

Awesome! Wonderful! heavy duty! Tight, secure lid! No regrets, beautifully packaged and dispatched, each bottle is in a separate compartment so the bottle doesn't touch and is well protected during transit. I'll be back. :) I use these bottles to make fragrant kombucha. The kombucha becomes fizzy and the caps keep the effervescent perfectly in the bottle. The lids fit well and the bottles are not fragile. I love her. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IC1NQFO/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0

Ordered 3 times, everything arrived in perfect condition

I was a little hesitant the first time when I ordered because of reviews about broken bottles, but I have bought these bottles 3 times and received everything in perfect condition. Each time the packaging was slightly different, but there were no broken bottles or broken glass. The first 2 came with ceramic stoppers and the last order came with plastic stoppers. The beer tastes the same. I will be ordering again as I slowly build up my inventory to make larger batches and will definitely buy…

Not suitable for brewing!

Do not use for home brewing! These are cute bottles that are great for water. The included pads are too thin and of poor quality. The wire bars are thick and of decent quality, but they're not well placed. Even after I replaced the gaskets with good quality gaskets, there wasn't enough tension to seal the caps. My beer that I bottled was partially carbonated, but small bubbles were visible escaping the bottle's seals. I would like to return but one is already broken and the rest are used so…

I love flip top. They seal tightly and are a lot easier than buying lids all the time. They are designed to make brewing beer easier. I prefer the dark color of the bottle. Reminds me of all the old glass beer bottles from my youth. I also like pouring myself a glass of beer, changing the lid while slowly enjoying my beer. This bottle is a good size for when you're enjoying a pint with a friend. Since I live in Florida, the ladies like to share a bottle because it doesn't heat up as quickly and

Gamble Now, Hit or Miss

Bottles of different brands and closures have also changed over time. The first bottles had orange seals, they were ok. No major problems, no broken bottles. That was around April 2017. Then they blushed, it got a lot better. This lasted from November 2018 to February 2018. Now in March 2018 they are red but they are absolutely awful. This is frustrating as this time we ordered 60 at once and they all have bad lids. I had to bend the wires on the caps myself to keep the caps from slipping out…

  • Good Thing
Cons
  • No Vending Machine

I don't think 10 out of 12 is bad.

Upon my initial inspection, it was discovered that one of the stems fell out of the bottle when it was capped. I squeezed it in a vise a little, and then, with the help of pliers, twisted the ends of the wire so that they entered the recesses in the bottle at a slight upward angle. Now it stays in place when closed, but I don't know if it should be trusted to carbonize. Another bottle had a morsel of something stuck deep in the glass. Not sure if it will withstand pressure (during conditioning…
