Poor user interface, cannot export video

I used a free application on my computer to record and detect motion from 3 Amcrest cameras. I wanted to film this from my PC and I liked the quality of the camera so much I thought I'd buy a special recorder. I bought it together with a hard disk for recording. Installation went well, not painless, but not very difficult either. The user interface of this device looks like something from the early 90's. It's just bad. Great product, easy setup and it works.

My old SWANNE NVR died. I tried getting a replacement PSU, but $120 and a month's wait seemed a bit crazy. I read the reviews about it and they seemed more positive than negative. I suspect if you're buying a full Armcrest kit it probably won't be any easier to set up. I was using my SWANN POE cameras and they were a bit of an issue as they were configured with static IP addresses.
