Little Rockin' Game Processor

It has been running for about two and a half years and as far as I can tell it has worked very well with the Radeon RX 580 4GB. I play at 1080p and usually settle for medium/high graphics (usually medium for online) depending on the game. But I appreciated the power for heavy web browsing, web design, and basic photo/video processing. I feel like these things require a bit more power (or UPS) than Windows 10 is happy to provide. Had system stuttering issues for 2 weeks after my first install…

So far so good, everything works as it should, except for my .

UPDATE: Fixed the GPU display with the M-Flash BIOS (relative to this imo review as it doesn't account for an integrated GPU) as the msi live update didn't install the updated bios , so everything works great. It was definitely worth the cost of a budget low power gaming rig. I am using MSI Tomahawk b350 Ryzen 1300x. 1831MHz EVGA 500b (500 Watt) PSUFsp CMT210 Package

Great for Ryzen 1

Great for Ryzen 1.0 Am4 platform if you want to get into it. I bought a top tier x370 chipset motherboard for a great upgrade base. Pros: Price 4 cores 4threadsX - has a bin for XFR 1.0 Great storage cooler (used 4.0 out of the box) I think it supports virtualization and SMTRyzen 2.0 will be released, prices should go down Am4, socket plan and competition in the market Cons: Ryzen XFR 1.0 is limited to 4.0 in most cases (didn't try above, get AIO) It's 4C/4T, to get multithreading, you need to…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options

Affordable processor for general system upgrades

I really like this processor as it is a transition from the Intel i3 2120 which has served me very well over the years. I noticed a significant performance improvement across the board. This processor runs well and is cool with the stock cooler. I really try to use quiet setups and haven't had good results with previous generations of AMD processors due to their heat issues and unreliable coolers. In my opinion, they really nailed this line. It runs cool, quiet (with stock cooler) and handles…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
