"American " craft = Australian fork? Poor description Details

This comes with an AU plug (I assume there is one) but this important factor is not mentioned anywhere in the listing, details or description! Now I'm either forced to buy a US adapter to at least turn it on (and pray it blows up) or buy a new instrument. Very bad description. Buyers should at least know what kind of plug to expect!

American Crafts Zap Hot Stamping Gun

I bought this item to use with embossing powder to add variety to card making. It gets very hot so you have to be careful with the tip to avoid burning yourself. Also, do not hold the heat gun near the paper or you will burn it. The cord is short, so you'll need a workspace near an outlet, otherwise you'll need an extension cord. When using a hair dryer it is recommended to use a heat resistant pad/surface. I bought a heat resistant Ranger mat sold on Amazon so I could safely use the heat gun.

It just works.

This is my second. I have 3 heat guns. one broken, different brand. I then bought a ZAP, which works great. But since the first one is now behind a filing cabinet where I can't reach or pick it up. I bought another Zap! It works, it's reliable, it's colorful to be seen. Even if you spot it somewhere, it's going to take someone to move the 90-pound closet. It will not fuse with wood products. Protection, warning signs, and an on/off toggle switch are also good. The security features are always a

Fast and easy!

I've never used a heat gun so I have no comparison with it. But I don't see how it could be better! So far I've made 120 date cards for my wedding with it. Each card was stamped "Save the Date" with Martha Stewart's black embossing powder, which heated and hardened the Zap gun in 3-5 seconds! Each card also had a corner die-cut using Ranger's ultra-fine gold stamping powder, which allowed the spray gun to heat and cure 7-10 seconds longer. The gun did not smoke yet and there were no problems…
