Great, but better if the sharp edges were broken.

Heavy and high quality stainless steel. It has to last a lifetime. The only downside is that the sharp edges aren't broken, making it a little less comfortable to hold. Breaking sharp edges is a standard procedure for machined products, but you can do the same thing yourself with sandpaper and 5 minutes of your time.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • No

Edges are very rough

Just received this can/bottle opener to replace one that had lasted for years but was starting to rust. The edges of this knife are very rough. The metal is cut square, the edges were not smoothed during manufacture. See attached closeups. On the other hand, the price of a stainless steel bottle opener with a wooden handle is not expensive. Stainless steel does not rust under normal conditions. Like any wooden-handled cookware, it has just been washed and dried. Don't let it soak in water.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Crumpled

Wow V8 can Terminator!

Wow Revain really got it right this can opener cuts heavy V8 metal cans like paper scissors no problem very happy with my purchase the other two I did previously bought from local hardware store, bent and failed miserably, but not this one, this one does the job when this metal first hits about 1/8" thick, beast of a punch so now I can take all of them to my 46- Returning ounce v8 cans thanks again would recommend this to all my friends thanks again revane!

Pros
  • Made from thick hardened stainless steel for years of everyday use
Cons
  • Not automatic

Cannot punch side on side

We bought this product to use as a can opener but neither my husband nor I could open a can with it! First, the little lip holding the glass is the wrong shape/size so you don't get a good grip. Second, the punch tip is too wide and thick to do much more than dent a can. Third, and this was more of a problem for my husband than me, instead of opening the can, the metal itself bent. We haven't tried a bottle opener, but if you're looking for a can opener with a hole punch, this isn't for you.

Pros
  • Will look professional and elegant in any home or bar
Cons
  • Can't remember

It could be a family heirloom kitchen utensil!

I finally threw away my rusty, bent church key and invested a whopping six dollars in this quality can opener. I use this primarily to open storage jars and the pointed end does a good job of firmly gripping the rim of the jar and punching a decent hole in the lid from the outside. A lot of effort on my part. The metal on this thing is thick, so there's no way you can bend it unless you grab some tools from the garage. The wood on the handle feels comfortable and looks like it has beenโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Hardwood handle for a comfortable grip
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
