American SS H 24 Stainless H Style Burner Review

The burner is excellent for converting gas logs into refractory glass. The flexible gas line was not in the box, although the box and product description indicated it was.

Ideal for a small fireplace when you switch from firewood or firewood to a design solution of fireproof glass. I like the spread of the flames and the overall look. I would recommend and/or order again!

I love the burner. Came with everything you need including a small bag of pipe paste. The whistle reducer hose is quite long - too long for our small chimney so we just used the pipe that was already on the chimney. You can definitely hear the gas as it rushes through the burner, but the TV drowns out the sound. If the fire is really high then there will definitely be a loud whistle! But I have a feeling that if we turn it down to get rid of the whistle the fire will get quite high and roaring.

This item arrived on time, complete and in excellent condition. We removed our old concrete gas block mount and replaced it with this unit that comes with a hose that you connect between the wall (where your gas goes to the chimney) and this H burner. We placed it right on the hearth, bought 50 pounds of fire glass (that's the right amount for our standard size fireplace) and filled it up. Nice.
