Good replacement, best in rough plumbing

Easy replacement of the original tub faucet. In fact, this is an exact replacement after almost 20 years. Looks great and works.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • So-so

Ideal for sink and bath spouts

$8 in stock trades. It doesn't scratch and works great! Our previous spout buzzed and squeaked the entire time you showered. Not anymore, fresh print!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.

High-quality bath spout. Simple and beautiful.

Installs on 0.5" straight copper tubing. Easy to install and looks great. I recommend using the chrome bezel (shown in picture) with it.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • No performance

Best quality spout: Rough Plumbing

Exactly what I was looking for to replace a leaking spray spout with my standard American faucet! I went back to the shower with full pressure, it didn't even drip out of the spout while showering.

Pros
  • good item
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Easy to install on the faucet Spare parts

The old spout was also replaced because hard water makes the trigger stop working. Installed a new spout and it's amazing how much more pressure you get when water isn't flowing out of the spout into the drain!

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Difficult to answer

Skip the "Cheapest HD " option.

I bought the cheapest Danco replacement I could find. It was a mistake, ended up spewing water back into the wall, worse than the old one I replaced. The American standard tub spout worked much better. Just slip on the existing copper pipe and all I had to do was tighten it up.

Pros
  • Quality workmanship
Cons
  • No instructions

Simple, clean and ultra-lightweight installation

Replaces an old and leaking diverter tube. Installation was easy and looks good. It seems a little more expensive than it should be, but then again, everything is expensive these days! Just make sure you need a spout and that you've sanded down any sharp edges on the pipe before attaching it.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Quality

Exactly as ordered on faucets

This American Standard elbow is exactly as ordered. Visually, it comes very close to the original part that was intended for replacement. And the American Standard diverter I ended up using, a duplicate of it but not the "patch on" type, actually works better than the original (hardly drips when using the shower). It only took 5-10 minutes to install, which I'm incredibly happy about.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Disappears
