Well done. Good price. Good value for money.

American standard porcelain shower handle Cracked and crumbled over time. So I needed a replacement. Decided to go with him. This is a replacement replacement. And it looks great! Note: The cap must be removed to gain access to the set screw.

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Perfect replacement

Looks the same as my old one and better design too. By one, a long bolt went through the handle, which was rusty and very difficult to attach to the sill. It only had one screw which made it much easier to tighten. Buyers should be aware that there is only one in the pack, so you'll need to buy two if you're looking for a pair.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • I will add later

Don't waste your money

Extremely poor workmanship. No quality control. The screw for the handle just falls out. I put it back in the pen and then it disappeared into the pen. The screw cannot hold the handle. I can usually order a replacement but this one was so poorly made I'm not interested in waiting for another broken one.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Clarity

works super well for faucet handles

Can't really understand the negative reviews on this - complaints that the screw is loose so won't fasten. Very simple - if you want to screw it in, you need to remove the cap and use a screwdriver. I can believe people don't understand that. It's not hard to figure out at all and it works great with my 10 year old standard American shower switch. The porcelain is cracked so I think it's the best long-term replacement.

Pros
  • very impressive
Cons
  • obsolete model

Super strong and break resistant

I tried two porcelain versions of this pen and they kept breaking. I switched to this and haven't had any problems since. Note that the handle may/still come loose and the rubber washer does little to prevent this. Tip: Add and tighten a lock washer between the handle components. I wanted it to be more secure so I added two lock washers to keep it from loosening. I would consider this a product design flaw, so use a lock washer!

Pros
  • Very fast delivery
Cons
  • No instructions

Does not look like the original US standard parts assembly

The handle is very pretty but because the screw is loose in the body and not attached to anything it will not thread into the faucet handle. You spin and spin and the whole handle turns around the screw and does not enter. It turned out that Moy's grip matched mine and his screw was attached/attached to the grip. Maybe my device was incompatible, but that seems strange. If the screw turns in the handle, how is it tightened?

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Minor imperfections

The end cap pops up and wish it worked for me.

Four stars for the looks and the price considering that they are usually very expensive. It didn't work as a replacement for the gold Moen Monticello pens I was trying to replace which are much more expensive mainly due to the style and size. I'd have to remove a small portion of the base and then find a shorter screw to accommodate it, so that would be too much hassle. For those who haven't been able to tighten the knob: the round end cap will pop out - be careful as it's a plastic part and if

  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Periodicity

Now the handles fit!

We recently replaced the faucets in our master bath with American Standard Hampton faucets. The handles that came with the faucets were chrome/porcelain which didn't match our decor although they looked very nice. We bought them and now they look much better. Removing the porcelain knobs and installing these chrome knobs was a bit of a chore. The center mounting screw appears to be held in place only by a small rubber O-ring. It looks like the end cap will come loose so a screwdriver can be…

  • Hands-free operation

  • Reliability
