Continue changing shower faucet washers, cold. It was actually a valve that had snapped at the disc seat, causing the rubber disc to cut through in short order and the tank spout to be dripping. The new repair kit fixed the problem and it arrived in just two days. Many Thanks.

Fast shipping and works great in my old bath and shower valve that was new in the early 1980's. Note that I lubricated the brass threads and o-ring with DANCO Waterproof Silicone Faucet Grease, also purchased from Revain, and the valve runs very smoothly. Note that both valve cartridges open counter-clockwise, just like my original valves. I've only rebuilt my hot valve so far so I now have a spare from this two pack.

My old bathroom faucet was leaking and I thought I'd buy a new one and be done with it. Wow, cheap home depot crap and ridiculously expensive, and it looks like it's going to break in a few years. If you have a very heavy and durable faucet that these valves fit in, do yourself a favor and just fix what you have and forget about having to replace it after a few years.
