Don't waste time, order quality

Not satisfied with the product. I had two products of different sizes. one had a collar, the other had a smooth surface. it got installed and uninstalled before I could even try to find a reason to think it was a good idea. The next day I just gave the money to the local dealer for the right parts.

Works great so far, highly recommend as a factory replacement

After seeing how much Polaris calls for factory ball joints, based on previous reviews I decided to give them a try. All I can say is that they were a lot easier to put in than taking the old ones out. Works great so far and I highly recommend it as a factory replacement.

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is fine

Perhaps another buyer received other than .

Another customer may have received different than the factory picture. NO! The picture shows the threaded nut at the end. I received the same thing the buyer took. The item is described like almost every ATV. we are almost I have a Polaris Trailblazer 250. I needed a threaded end with a castellated nut. NO!

Fits well and the easy shipping was nice.

I really like that they were top notch, two days delivery. They fit well. I had to use the locking cap from the rack to push it in. The crown nut looks cheap. Just don't over torque them (they have a cotter pin to hold them in place) so they don't need crazy torque. TO UPDATE. After a weekend of rock crawling in Moab, no hiccups. .

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Hard to say

they seem heavy.

Just installed this on my 2002 Sportsman 500 HO. The hardest part was getting the old ones out. (I cut a 1" PVC coupler until about 1/2" of the threads of the old joints were showing. I then welded on the old joint to keep it from wobbling or moving the percussion gun, and it came with some work out.) But I digress. They were pretty tight but went in with no dents or anything. (I don't know if that's a good thing or not.) I'll update this review in a while and let you know how they hold up.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Easily repairable
