🔩 Amerock Single Demountable Cabinet Hinge, 1/2 inch (13 mm) Overlay, Satin Nickel, 2-Pack, Self-Closing Door Hinge Review

These hinges are the perfect upgrade for the outdated bronze hinges I have. However, being able to only order 5 pairs through Revain was disappointing when I needed 27. If I order directly from the manufacturer, I have to wait 10 days for the remaining pairs. Holds Renault.

So this is the only (or almost only) company that makes these hinges. They work great, they're just a little smaller than my originals and require new screw holes. It's probably not the company's fault, but I've seen some other people mention it, so the product may differ from the originals from the 1970s-80s. The rest is very good.

I built kitchen and bathroom cabinets 30 years ago. We recently redecorated our home and replaced almost all of the cabinets, but we wanted to keep some of them. The original hinges were antique brass and we wanted to update them with nickel. I was glad to find them and they worked very well. They are self-locking and hold up very well. I would highly recommend her.

They are good replacements for old Amerock cabinet hinges from the 80's and 90's. The only downside is that they are much thinner than the old ones and don't seem to be of as good quality. I have ordered these hinges from various sellers on Amazon and the ones sold on Amazon were of the best quality, however as they only allow each customer to buy 5 I had to order the rest of the hinges from other sellers.

We bought these to replace some of the old hinges in our kitchen. They look great and the overall quality is amazing. However, we had a problem: the collar on the hood (the part in the closet) was too long. The screw went down before it was fully tightened. Luckily for us, the threads on it were identical to the old hinge we replaced, so we just replaced the threads on the old hinges and used them for this one. The description and lack of measuring instructions are annoying. The hinges were well made but the wrong size. I gave less points because of the SITE DESCRIPTION.
