I bought this to take pictures and it's great! It comes in a good protective case and the prism was in perfect condition. Now I can have fun experimenting with it on my photography trips. The only thing that could be improved is some kind of latch for the case. There were a few times where the case would accidentally open and my prism would fly through the air.

Media could not be loaded. It was easy to make a rainbow out of this prism. We just shined a flashlight on it and moved it around a bit, and voila! It collects fingerprints terribly, which is to be expected. So I recommend using one of those little microfiber cleaning cloths that come with your glasses, jewelry, or computers. It entertains not only my kids but me too. I paid full price for this item. All opinions are my own.

Very good. Creates a rainbow and is a great tool for creative photography. My only reason to rate it 4 stars and not 5 stars is that the edges are slightly off. one side has a flat end and does not meet at a point. The flat edge tapers to a point on the other end and I noticed that it's similar but not as sharp on the second edge. This affects lighting effects, but still works well.
