Material is good quality. Screws in the sand easily. Would not trust in high wind. Pressure clamp the fits two sections together Mia a bit weak

Great Umbrella best in my review

This umbrella is of excellent quality and very easy to assemble. Sturdy even on windy days. Love the ease of using the sand anchor! Perfect for the beach.

Pros
  • STABILITY - Air vented 7ft beach umbrella.air-vent designed to facilitate air flow for more stability. With tilt to maximize your shade. You can use the beach umbrellas for sand as backyard beach umbrella beside your swimming pool during pool parties or while just relaxing during your resting period.
Cons
  • The umbrella may not be stable on soft, mushy sand

Quality product, easy to set up

This is lightweight which is a bonus, yet seems strong enough. The large anchor was easy to use. Tip: I use a large toy shovel to dig down about 10-12 inches and then screw the anchor down. When it's secure, I fill the hole. Umbrella stood up well on a windy day at the beach.

Pros
  • Light weight but sturdy. Glad we got it!
Cons
  • The umbrella may be too flimsy in strong winds

umbrella will not stay up

Purchased in mid July ,First time I used it was yesterday , I was very pleased for about 10 minutes then the holding mechanism let go and it collapsed on my head. I reset it and each time it would let go about ten minutes after. There was just a slight breeze so that wasn't the problem. I would not recommend this umbrella to anyone.

Pros
  • Not too bad... Not too good... ok for the money
Cons
  • The umbrella may not be sturdy enough to withstand strong winds

Holds up to wind! good for me

We bought two of these to use on the dunes in Indiana. For anyone who isn't familiar, that's across Lake Michigan from Chicago. It gets very windy some days. These umbrellas held up beautifully when others around us had to take theirs down. The adjustable tilt let us stay in the shade all day with minor movements of our chairs. I highly recommend these!

Pros
  • STRONG AND DURABLE - The umbrella is supported by 8 strong fiberglass ribs and sturdy Aluminum pole.Fiberglass ribs provides enhanced durability and extended protection making our beach umbrella windproof even in windy conditions. Also vented for better air release to avoid cover inversion unlike other beach tents or wind beach umbrellas.
Cons
  • The sand anchor may not be strong enough for windy conditions

Heavy duty it is. best in my review

I was skeptical about this umbrella but it is built like a rock. I had this and my other umbrella at the beach on a very windy day and this did not move. My other umbrella looked like it wanted to fly away. What I love about the Ammsun is that you can adjust the height on the pole itself.

Pros
  • The umbrella's lightweight design makes it easy to carry around in the accompanying carry bag
Cons
  • The aluminum pole may be difficult to clean

Initial 5 days use for my opinion

Looks pretty good. I'm comparing it to a Costco Tommy Bahama umbrella that lasted 3 years and rusted out.The plastic part that screws into the ground worked OK, and it is plastic so it shouldn't rust. The umbrella part is about the same size and type, however it did snap out of open setting a couple of times. This causes the umbrella to close. I may not have pushed it far enough up, but time will tell. Quality of Tommy Bahama is a bit better but 3 years ago they did not have the plastic ground…

Pros
  • The heavy-duty material ensures that the umbrella can withstand strong winds, making it optimal for beach visits
Cons
  • The umbrella may not be able to withstand gusts of wind

Great sun protection.

It survived the windy summer in Bragantine. It is easy to assemble and the silver coat keeps the sun out. We loved it. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • The adjustable height feature of the umbrella allows for versatile usage and customization based on your preferences
Cons
  • The UV protection may not be as advertised

Very Sturdy and Easy to Set Up

Wow! I was very pleasantly surprised about how light this umbrella is, how sturdy it is, and how easy it is to set up.I bought it for a beach vacation I the outer banks. People we were traveling with brought 3 other types of beach umbrellas. We had a VERY windy day, and this umbrella was the only one to stand up to the wind. It stayed securely in the ground and kept its shape. (One of the other style umbrellas flew out of the ground and the other two vibrated as if they were going to come out…

Pros
  • sturdy in jersey shore wind
Cons
  • The adjustable height feature may break easily

Only one use! Lost it to thunderstorm!

Was not easy to assemble! The umbrella did not want to latch in the open position, some metal part was bent! Didn't withstand a beach thunderstorm, but the wind was fierce! Gone forever!

Pros
  • The sand anchor included in the package ensures that the umbrella stays in place and doesn't get blown away
Cons
  • The carry bag may not be waterproof

Zero Customer Service May leave you stranded

Bought two of these in the summer, used first time on family vacation Labor Day weekend. Looking back at my purchase they are specifically described as "high wind”. It was a windy day, but not unusual for the shore. One of the two umbrellas’ bottom poles bent. I contacted customer service, after many days they responded wanting pictures. I sent two (one closer up shot), and waited WEEKS for something. Finally reached out again (politely as possible) a couple weeks ago, nothing. I’m not a…

Very high quality beach umbrella

This umbrella is a great design with very high quality materials and construction. It holds up well in our SoFlo high beach winds. The only criticism is the screw anchor needs to go very deep in our soft beach sand compared to our previous beach umbrella.

Pros
  • Used the umbrella in Rhode island beach where wind was quite strong. Umbrella held up really well.
Cons
  • The umbrella may not be big enough for larger groups

A harpoon in the wind

I really loved theses bright colors. Had really hoped being a beach umbrella that it would be fairly sturdy in winds. I came home one afternoon to find the top half out in my front yard upon a breezy day. Beware buyers.this joint as seen in the picture will wiggle loose and then it is gone.

Pros
  • The UV 50+ protection feature prevents skin damage resulting from exposure to the sun, offering additional health benefits
Cons
  • The UV protection may not hold up to prolonged exposure to sun and saltwater

I live at the ocean. Many days are windy. I've only used it twice, but seems sturdy enough. Time will tell. Thanks for attention.

Does not topple in wind!

When we ordered this umbrella I really wasn't convinced that it could withstand ocean wind, but it did! And the ability to angle it keeps you in the shade. Don't usually write these reviews but am so pleased with this purchase.

Pros
  • Easy to assemble and carry over your shoulder. The perfect beach umbrella!
Cons
  • The adjustable height feature may not stay in place

Sturdy beach umbrella!

This umbrella is very sturdy and held up to the beach winds when others where turning inside out. Love the anchor that is included to hold it in the sand. Worth the money!

Pros
  • Has enough cover to sit in the shade, and is sturdy.
Cons
  • The sand anchor may not work effectively in all types of sand

Stays up in the wind!

Excellent umbrella for the beach - stood up very well to strong winds, did not come out of the ground! Just need to anchor it well into the sand, easily done with the screw in anchor provided. Then angle it against the wind and sun and it stays up, providing shade at any time of day. Looks good too!

Pros
  • We love are umbrella and it is a great value.
Cons
  • The aluminum pole may be prone to rusting
