Don't fall for an amp setup

I drove my car to the audio center and was told you need oxygen free copper wires. The wires in the kit are aluminum, the needles said they offered to replace the kit for me. The kit they sold me was $100. I may have paid too much but it was pretty close to what I found online. Stay away from this kit.

  • Great for a small house
Cons

High-quality cable for car electronics Accessories

Finally, I decided to upgrade the standard speakers to high-quality JBL components and add an amplifier. I needed a set of wires so after looking around I settled on this one. Copper baby, good stuff! Even my installer commented on their quality. Spend the extra money and get the job done right the first time so you don't have problems in the future.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Surprised by the thickness of the wire

To be honest I was skeptical about buying the wire knowing it was CCA wire but it turned out to be a great wire given the type said in the video that he is much thicker than normal CCA wire. I would use it again to build a small to medium sized car audio system. The only downside is that the remote control cable isn't great, but other than that, nothing to complain about.

All great except the fuse holder can't hold a 4 gauge wire? Solid as well.

Very heavy 4 gauge wire for 12v and ground but fuse holder too small for 4 gauge wire. The speaker cables are very good and the RCA cables seem to be pretty good. I haven't heard everyone to know if RCAs are well shielded because I need to find a larger fuse holder to support 4 gauge through the 12v power wire. If the fuse holder was big enough it would be 5 stars.

Need heavy duty pliers

This is good value for money, wish it was a bit thicker but for what I use it does the trick. All wiring is very flexible. You will also need a heavy duty crimping tool for the battery posts. The clamps are made of very thick material. I got this to work with a large pair of pliers, but I'd definitely recommend a pair of crimping pliers, or take them to an audio store or maybe a repair shop to see if they can do it for a few bucks.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Something different

Small flaw, but a great product for the price.

So I ordered the 4awg kit and everything is very good. Yes, it's not 100% copper wire, but it's not terrible. I mean, you're not paying $100 for it. The fuse in my kit was too small to fit the giant 4 AWG wire without damaging it. I contacted the seller and within hours they sent me a new 100 amp fuse which would fit easily into the cable so yeah it didn't come right out of the box but the seller is top notch here. In my opinion they should just sell this kit with 100A copper fuses and maybe…

A few questions. I do not recommend

Pros: RCA cables and speaker cables look very nice. The 4AWG wire is flexible and the insulation is strong. Cons: 4AWG wire is made up of MANY strands of hair-like copper. Even before it inevitably untangles, it's nearly impossible to fit into the fuse's slots. I'd rather have fewer strands, even if it makes the cable a little less flexible. Just stripping the insulation off of that crap leaves a little pile of copper hairs. If I had a powerful system I would pull it out and start over and…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Pretty decent. Definitely one of the best kits here

Definitely one of the best kits I've received from Revain. If you are looking for the best quality I would just buy the Rockford Fosgate kit. Much of this other Revain material is suspect. But this set seems worthy. It's far from top-of-the-line, but it's not junk. I'm happy with that. No problems so far, there is a fuse on the cable. I think it's a decent set. As I said I would choose Rockford but their kits are EXPENSIVE! Rschunimagu

All in all a good set with some weaknesses.

power cable is very thick and stiff, appears to be 4 gauge as advertised. The positive cable is long enough, more than enough for my large SUV. The ground wire is short but was able to get it to work. The fuse looks high quality, the screws are very easy to loosen. The RCA appears to be of good quality as does the speaker wire which appears to be 14 gauge. A cheap piece is a translucent blue wire to turn the amp on and off, it doesn't matter because it's not used for anything except switches…

Cons
  • not reliable

Pleasantly surprised, better than expected.

It looks like it should work. The external power cable has a diameter of almost 9.5 mm. It was difficult to measure the copper wire without stripping it, but it appears to be about 7.10 millimeters. The power cord was my main issue when connecting the amp. Everything else in the kit looks pretty decent quality. I can't say anything about the metallurgy of the power cable. It has a slight silver sheen in the cut. It could be copper clad aluminum but I'm not sure. Given the size, this is more…
