It looks like it should work. The external power cable has a diameter of almost 9.5 mm. It was difficult to measure the copper wire without stripping it, but it appears to be about 7.10 millimeters. The power cord was my main issue when connecting the amp. Everything else in the kit looks pretty decent quality. I can't say anything about the metallurgy of the power cable. It has a slight silver sheen in the cut. It could be copper clad aluminum but I'm not sure. Given the size, this is more than enough to easily power a 1000W amp. The cable and outer sheath are quite flexible, smooth, not sticky and should fit my needs perfectly. My only gripe is the cheap plastic firewall grommets. Pretty useless. Get a rubber or ball shaped one that will tighten the wire. Red power cord - 17' 1". Black ground wire is 36.75" long. RCA cable - 17 feet. Speaker wire 16 - 18' 0.5" gauge. very high quality kit. I will update the review about a week after installation.
