Exactly what I needed!

I have a 17" Silverado and wanted to add an amp, but wanted to keep the factory radio with all its features. It was perfect for my needs! Worked great!

Manual required: Radio Accessory

The product did not come with a manual. On the 2018 Malibu, which comes with a 7" screen, I'm not sure if the wiring harness is connected behind the dash to the radio or in the trunk to the amp. Since no remote control cable is supplied, the amplifier cannot be switched on remotely.

Works well. Understand what he will and won't do before you order.

Installation couldn't be easier. I installed it in my 2015 GMC Canyon with a basic stereo and smaller screen. Remove the bezel/vent panel around the radio then you will need to unscrew the four 7mm screws. Pull out the screen and locate the green connector. Unplug it and plug in this adapter, then plug the cable you just unplugged into the other end of the adapter and you've got it installed. Now you can plug in the RCA cable and connect it to the amplifier. Then reinsert the screws and replace
