Digital clamp meter measures alternating current (AC) to 600 amp, direct current (DC) voltage and AC voltage to 600 volts (V), capacitance to 3,000 microfarads, resistance to 40 megaohms, and frequency to 100 kilohertz. Average-sensing meter provides accurate readings when measuring linear loads, where the current or voltage has a sinusoidal waveform. Transformer clamp with 1" (26 mm) jaw opening has jaws that are slimmer than standard clamp jaws, for improved access to tight areas, and measures current without touching or interrupting the circuit. A relative zero mode stores a reading in memory to use as a zero point for subsequent readings. Meets International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) safety standard 61010 and is certified for category III installations up to 600V. Rubber over-molded case. Hold and maximum reading functions. Capacitance to 3000 uF. Meets EN61010-2-032, UL61010B-2-032, IEC61010-1 2nd Ed. EN61010-1 2nd Ed. UL61010-1 2nd Ed. CAT III-600 Volts ac & dc. Pollution degree : 2.

great product for testers

My old 20 year old unit died so I ordered this as a last resort, works great. Just remember that it only works with AC amps and you should only connect it to one conductor at a time. I like the size so I can run it through the wires in the box.

Amazing little electricity meter.

These are quality test tools from Fluke. I have 3 Amprobe probes and am completely satisfied with the accuracy and reliability of these gauges. If you don't have the money for a Fluke, they're just as good at a cheaper price.

DOES NOT measure DC current - works but not industrial quality

DOES NOT measure DC current. Slightly on the light side with no cushioning. A good drop will probably destroy this. If you can, tie it to your wrist so it doesn't hit the ground the first time you flinch when you see a spark. LAUGH OUT LOUD

Good value HVAC meter

This is a good meter for the money but it doesn't quite fit. It's on the bottom for Amprobe. You have to be careful of the correct position of the slide switch, but for the typical day-to-day life of an HVAC technician, I got by with this gauge. I also have a high-end amprobe. meters for more important tasks. I've been using Amprobe for about 30 years.

GREAT gauge! Better up to $100.

True RMS is a must for all current clamps. This meter is well built and accurate. Would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the battery. My only complaint is that it uses a small "coin" type lithium battery. An extra was included, but this is not the type of battery to have around when the meter needs a new battery. That being said, I doubt it needs to be changed very often.

So far so good on the tester

Mine old Amprobe about 40+ years old finally gave up its last breath and it was the only replacement I could find in no time.

Very important! best in multitester

I spent a lot of time researching the clamps before finally purchasing these. Amprobe ACD-10-PLUS-TRMS does everything I care about for less than $100. This meter reads AC current up to 600 amps, resistance (resistance), AC voltage, DC voltage and has a loud continuity tone. He will also check diodes and capacitance. This model is a true RMS model and reads frequency with clamps or test leads. The test leads supplied with this meter are good and all fit nicely in a carrying case. I'm onlyโ€ฆ
