Although Microscope survived, the battleship sank. Please tell me can I get replacement digital optics more than 2MP.

Supercool. A complaint. Fell off the tripod onto the microscope and destroyed the digital optics. So far my only option is I can only find a 2MP digital replacement lens. Unless I buy a brand new microscope just for the 5 megapixel optics. I will write to AMSCOPE. I hope you can do something for me. It would be super cool if they had even more advanced optics. I note that the date on the optic is 2014. Maybe it ends with an upgrade. The software is very easy to use. Mice Ons Sun, Joshua…

. I teach for a home science class and I am happy with my purchase

I purchased this microscope (September 2015) for a home science class I teach and I am happy with my purchase. The microscope meets all my needs and is definitely better than anything I have used before in my class. The software certainly does more than what I need for elementary and high school science classes. I wish it came with additional instructions as there are additional parts in the packaging which I cannot determine their function. I've been teaching high school science for 10 years…

Great microscope for high school or aspiring scientists.

I ordered 17 of these microscopes for my 8th grade class. Overall the build is solid and comparable to most scopes students have used in the past. I like the LED light and the ability to adjust both the LED and the iris. This gives you two options for adjusting the light. The lenses appear to be of good quality, and the stage has a well-defined end stop that makes it clear when you're on the end (without feeling soft). For the price, the 5MP camera is fantastic and takes great pictures. I agree
