Cheap thin soft plastic

Sufficient. You can solder them to the wire and plug into the standard DC adapter jack on the device. But the quality of the plastic leaves much to be desired. It's so cheap, thin, soft plastic that it curls up with the simple pushing force you have to use to get it off the jack. I found that the only way to make them usable was to epoxidize them before bolting them on.

GARBAGE! Must be 0 stars

I have a lot of soldering experience but as other users have said if one of the leads gets hot enough to melt the solder the insulator is already destroyed. I even went so far as to tin the leads and let everything cool completely before attaching the tinned wire. When the job was done, all of the connectors spun freely on the crumpled insulator, resulting in an intermittent connection. If you need a reliable connection, look elsewhere. I should have listened to other reviewers.

  • Great for me

I wish they were better built.

I ordered these to make a solar panel adapter cable to connect to the Goal Zero Bluetti 700 solar panel. It worked fine and no company makes this wire which I need. But I can see a few corners that were cut in the making of this tip. Dirty plastic edges, somewhat brittle plastic, and uneven coating on the screw connecting the plastic shell to the metal tip. It was very cheap and I could always replace it if I had to do it again. I just wish there was a little more focus on the production. I got

Very good basic plugs.

Works great. Don't expect high quality sound. It's just basic "git r done" stuff. But they work great. They pick up solder very well and the plastic supports them if you use them with the right size wires. Don't forget to thread them all the way through when assembling. The silver shoulder should be under or inside the black plastic. I see people complaining about the strength, but then the photo isn't fully composed. He can feel tense before that happens, that's all. The 4 I put together are…

slim, connector too long

Power connector assembly for various products; Closed loop cameras require 5.5mm x 2.1mm jack plugs, guitar pedal power jacks. Even the power connector of the amp. However, the risk of an open surface is high. The power plug is too long. Maybe twice as long as other plugs. This means that the plug is fully inserted into the socket. This exposes the outer surface to a possible short circuit. Another problem is the thin material. Stoopid bends easily! Finally, the fork cover is placed on the…

Good and useful. Fast, timely delivery.

These 4 connectors from THIS SUPPLIER are the CORRECT size. 2.5x5.5mm They fit snugly into the power input for my bluetooth amp. I'd like to use 14AWG, but it could be a bit wider than the solder leg holes. if I need to downsize the wire to 16 AWG. I won't know until I press them. My other solar project for my caravan currently has priority. I gave 4 stars for "easy to use" as I've used the same thing in the past. A little uncomfortable, but good. For newbies! Don't overheat. Just use enough…

AV accessories at a good price

I ordered the 2.5mm and 2.1mm sizes and they arrived very quickly and at a very reasonable price. I love that they come with both packs, which include plenty of pre-cut heatshrink tubing in two different sizes to ensure a nice, professionally insulated assembly after soldering. I used the smaller size to insulate the solder points and the larger size for extra wire end support when using a very thin wire. I had a very small issue with some ports that didn't affect their use in any way. but I…
