The best part is transferring and reading the SRS code

Gives me way more information than I expected! Probably the greatest value for something that can read transmission codes and SRS codes (which is why I decided to buy it) and just an insane amount of information about your car compared to a standard OBD2 scanner. It also has real-time readings when you're driving or parking and trying to figure out which sensor is bad/slow. It is powered by your OBD2 port or can be connected to a USB charger.

Scans more than I expected

I had never used it so didn't know what to expect. I had to use it on a neighbor's car for the first time. I gave myself an error code that caused the check engine light to come on. I'm not familiar with the car so I don't know what this code actually means so they took it to a service shop where they could look at the code and determine the problem was that it took me a while to fix it getting to that point because she asked a lot of questions that I didn't have an answer to right away, but…

Save yourself the disappointment and choose another manufacturer!

To be honest I haven't been able to use a real scanner and interact with the UI yet. However, I wasted over 2 hours trying to get YOUR software to recognize YOUR hardware with a simple serial number of about 6 or 7 digits and I'm a tech savvy person. All I want to do is check my car to see what needs fixing and fix it. Not for me in Tools & Equipment

You might think that registering your product for warranty would be the easiest thing to do. When I bought this code reader, their registration program (every time) failed to send the verification code. I couldn't activate my guarantee. My email to their support site came back saying the address doesn't exist. Need another connector that Ansel doesn't sell. Support no longer answers questions.

I bought this specifically to read airbag codes on a jeep. When connected to the OBD II port, the car will say to select the Chrysler (CCD) port. Technical support (email only) confirmed that I need a different connector - which Ancel does not sell. It took three days, one email a day, to get it out of them. When I started asking questions about where to find such a hookup, they referred me to Revain and then stopped responding to my emails. What now? I'm stuck with a very expensive device that

Great tool at a great price.

I have no complaints at all about this scanner. It seems capable of doing everything except reprogramming, which I wouldn't expect at this price point. It does everything other scanners do and also works on almost every vehicle that has an OBD2 system installed. It doesn't have touch controls, but costs about half as much as very similar touchscreen scanners. That's all I need and more than that since I'm not a mechanic.
