Description of Anderson Metals Brass Half Union Fitting

Half union for connecting and disconnecting two tubes more easily than with a coupling. 45-degree flare head tube connection on one side and a male NPT connection on the other. Brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. Operating temperature range of -65 to +250 degrees F. Resists mechanical pullout for a more secure connection. These fittings contain lead and are not allowed by federal law to be installed for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories.

These brass fittings contain lead.

I have always made sure that my brass fittings are marine brass, which has no lid. I didn't check the contents of this fitting until after I ordered it, foolishly assuming it wouldn't do those things with lead anymore. Well I can't use that on my grill. Revain refunded my money but would not let me return the item.

The perfect fitting to connect the original Camp Chef hose to the quick coupling.

Chosen for use with my new Camp Chef stove. I replaced the hose with a longer one with a quick release connector. I had to use this Anderson fitting to connect the original Camp Chef hose and regulator to a new matching quick disconnect. To convert Original Camp Chef hoes and regular hoes to connect to a 12ft hose so it can still run out of a standard standalone BBQ propane tank when not near the RV. However, you will need: Anderson Metals brass pipe fitting, half coupler, 3/8" flare and 1/4"…

Perfect for my HVAC vacuum pump.

Perfect for my MasterCool vacuum pump. I wanted to improve my vacuum time, recently bought a Yellow Jacket vacuum pump with a 1/2" connection. The original connections were 5/16" and 1/4" which didn't work. This connection worked. Flawless, I have tested it last night on a 30 lb reconstitution bottle.I was able to pull down to 500 microns in 6 minutes and 27 seconds which is surprisingly fast.Using the Fieldpiece SMAN Manifold Set the typical time is around 20-30 minutes.The fit was perfect…
