I like it! 7 years strong

I love this straightener very much. I bought mine in 2012 and still have it to this day. I use them at least once a week or more as I socialize more. Everyone who borrows it loves it too, and I honestly can't believe it took me this long. I'm ordering my second now as this one has started to loosen a bit and doesn't pinch evenly when I curl my hair but it only started a month ago. Amazing price for great quality. Actually I think I bought it for $20 before haha. I highly recommend thisโ€ฆ

It has a lock to close when not in use.

I currently have an old Andis model that I still use. I figured it would be a good idea to buy another one in case my original one breaks. When I received this iron the only difference was that it was 1 inch, much narrower than my original one. Everything else is the same. I love that it's ceramic and has a lock to hold the plates together when not in use. I'm still trying to get used to the size, although I'd still prefer a width of more than 1 inch. In general it works the same way.

I love Andi's irons, they are amazing!

I bought my first Andis iron over ten years ago and I absolutely love it! Unfortunately when it broke I realized I needed another one but I wanted the same thing so I went in search of the exact same one. It's simple, there are heating settings and locks, no additional nonsense fu fu. That's all you need and you don't have to spend $30, $50, $75, or even $100 on a flat iron to get a good flat iron. Just don't turn the heat up too high and you won't fry your hair. Excellent purchase!

Cheap but effective.

Heats up quickly and evenly. I've tried many pharmacy irons and this one is perfect for homemade silk irons. The edges of the plates sometimes snag and pull strands of hair, but generally this isn't a problem. You may find that after 6-8 months it doesn't get as hot as it used to, which I'm very happy with because it's very cheap. A great alternative until you are willing to spend over $100 for a high quality and perfect fit on black hair. The + her hair dryer gives me great abs every time.

The best flat iron I've ever had.

I got one of these straighteners for Christmas years ago and it lasted many years before I decided I needed a new one. The old one was in surprisingly good shape and still working, I just felt it was time to update it. I was looking for another rectifier. I bought and gave myself several different hair straighteners, different brands and prices, but none of them worked as well as my old one. I have thicker curly hair and every other straightener I've tried, even the expensive one, only made myโ€ฆ

I love Andis at Styling Tools & Appliances

I cut all my hair and needed a smaller flat iron. I bought a 1 inch elsewhere and it was terrible. The on/off button and temperature control were right where you need to keep them, so I kept turning them off during use. I already had a 2" Andis so I settled on the 1" and I love it. The temperature control and on/off switch are on the side, so they cannot be turned off or the temperature changed during use. The lock works well too, keeping it closed so it doesn't break. The best Fiat iron!

I got the white one as a gift and it lasted me 3 years (used but still good) before it stopped heating. This Fiat straightener is the best choice for thick hair! I even noticed that after washing my hair, some parts of my hair still stayed straight! I recommend it to every woman of color! This is the best! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Andis Flat Iron is simply divine!

I was skeptical at first. I have never had Andis as I have always used Revlon but as I cut my hair very short to curl it works wonders! I managed in time to curl my hair and get my Christmas photos with the right bouncy look. I was excited and impressed. While the Clamp Flat Iron didn't initially look like it could do much, it heats up quickly. It does the job and doesn't burn or damage hair. Not to mention a burnt smell which I know some people have. Small but great price and great work. Toโ€ฆ

Not as good as before. Disappointed and returned

I am very disappointed in this product. I had an Andis hair straightener for about 8 years and it finally stopped bothering me. I quickly ordered this one as it resembles the one I have loved for so many years. Unfortunately the quality standards seem to have dropped a lot since I bought it 8 years ago. The straightener doesn't close completely (see photo) causing my hair to slip through when I try to use it to curl. I was hoping I just got a bad one, but the replacement I requested has theโ€ฆ
