Great Clippers, But Why Bad Guards? Seriously, these things are paper thin and brittle! Photographed the broken one next to another security guard who had a much cheaper hair clipper. Why? After using the Andis Master II wired for over 20 years I decided to try the cordless device; also because I plan to take it with me when I move abroad. I liked the light weight, dual voltage and expanded range of guard sizes and my experience with Andis products. Update 9/18/19: After using them for daily cutting, fading, blending, etc. they just stopped working. I thought they were just dead so I pocketed them and the check engine light came on. Emailed Andis and they replied that they will repair for free as long as they are less than 1 year old and still under warranty.
