Extremely clear picture!

This is a really good digital microscope! The picture is very clear and the device is very easy to use. I would recommend this device.

Pros
  • Large Metal Base: The microscope camera optical arm is made of durable metal material and has a larger working space. Two clips at the base can fix the observed objects if necessary.
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Electronics of decent quality. Poor quality mechanics.

The field of view is actually too large. You cannot use a reduction lens. Also, board size is limited due to the length of the mounting arm. A decent microscope ring mount will end up costing more than this camera.

Pros
  • UV Filter: A UV filter is installed on the microscope, which is convenient for the user to protect the lens from pollution when soldering.
Cons
  • Factor set

Better than sliced bread!

I just started SMD soldering but I used a magnifying glass for the first month. Although it got the job done, buying my rations brought my rations up to mother level. I built two identical boards, one with magnifying glass and the other with this microscope. The components on the board I used with this amazing tool were perfectly straight and aligned. I hope this lasts a long time but if it breaks after two years I won't hesitate to buy another one. One of the best investments I've made in my…

Pros
  • 10.1 inch LCD: The electron microscope is equipped with a 10.1 inch LCD for a larger viewing area and less eye fatigue.
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Much Better Than Expected

I have been working with light microscopes for almost 25 years and until recently found that adding a video or computer interface was usually quite cumbersome. Yes, it works fine (obviously), but setting it up usually takes some time and isn't always intuitive. Andonstar AD409 is actually very intuitive. In less than 5 minutes I took the microscope out of the box, focused it and looked at the samples on the screen. It is so easy to use that my 11 year old had no problem using it. - The LCD…

Pros
  • Support HDMI & PC Connection: Compared with AD407 digital microscope, this oscilloscope can support HDMI output as well as PC connection for measurement. The tablet and phone support WLAN, but it is only used as a test function.
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged
