I don't understand why everyone is so excited about these headphones and how great they work with the Dragon. This was not my experience. At first it was just packed in a plastic bag. Also, this mic had just as many dictation issues as my old one - even with intense training. In the end I settled on the Plantronics model and I had better luck. I ended up sending this one back.

Pros
  • . Collapsible for storage.

Premium Headset

I bought this for work at home. The sound quality is excellent, the volume is also very good. It's very comfortable and very light, most of the time I forget I'm wearing it and startle at the call. The only thing I didn't find very comfortable is the mute button, it's very sensitive and sometimes I press it without realizing it and it's crazy but easy to fix, it has a bright blue light and it's useful. It seemed to me that the wired headset is expensive, but the quality is good.

Pros
  • Premium mono USB computer headset featuring Andrea microphone technology with noise canceling and volume/mute controls.
Cons
  • Nothing here

best in class! Best Audio & Video Accessories

I have used many of these headsets with Dragon Dictate 4.0 on my Macbook Pro (Retina) and Mavericks OS. This overshadows the others. Not only is it better than other - even more expensive - headsets, it also rivals the desk mics from Yeti Blue and Samson. In fact, it's better than Samon's desktop mics. The key is to download Andrea noise reduction software from Andrea website. So not just "plug and play". Download the noise canceling program and select Andrea's monaural headset as the default…

Pros
  • Connectivity: Wired
Cons
  • Reliability

As can be seen in the photos, the device has absolutely no signs of wear. Received on March 30, 2020, today is July 3, 2020 and it has stopped working. I work from home in a call center with a very strict attendance policy that requires our devices and internet to be available 100% of the time and if this is not the case per my contract my attendance will be affected. Since I've had it, I've been using it eight hours a day, five to six days a week. I was on the phone with a customer and he just

Pros
  • Extra Long 8ft Shielded Cable.
Cons
  • Legacy Model

This headset has performed well with Dragon Voice for the last 1 1/2 years. However, I was annoyed that recently the sound in the headphones disappeared. There doesn't seem to be a problem with speech recognition, so I can continue dictating as usual; but when i stop hearing something i can only hear it intermittently when i tug on the cord that connects to the headset. I typically use the headset a few times a week or less, so I didn't expect to run into problems this early on. Update January…

Pros
  • Microphone arm with Proflex wire for precise microphone placement.
Cons
  • Style 90

Ideal for Dragon Dictation Version 3 for Mac.

This is a review by Andreas Microphone. Overall I'm happy with the mic, although there was one thing that was odd about my particular purchase. When the purchase arrived it was in a plain white unsealed box. Apparently it wasn't in the original manufacturer's packaging, so I'm assuming it was a return. However, the mic itself came in a sealed plastic envelope with instructions attached. It appears to have been in very good condition and has not been used. I only use Andrea's microphone to use…

Pros
  • Reversible for left or right hand use.
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Ideal for Dragon Dictate

These headphones with built-in microphone, earbuds and mute button work great with Dragon Dictate/Naturally Speaking. I use it with Dragon Dictate 4 for the Mac platform and have achieved a very high level of transcription accuracy with very little training. This particular model is a bit more expensive than some of the other headsets that also work well with the Dragon, but it offers a slightly more solid build and a VERY long cable that allows you to dictate while moving around the room. It's

Pros
  • Integrated volume and mute controls.
Cons
  • Bad Experience

I like the long cord and what is possible.

I bought this headset with a built in sound card to use with my Dragon Naturally Speaking speech recognition software. I find the long cable and the fact that the headset can be rotated so that one earphone can be worn on both ears positive. On the other hand, the plastic piece on the other side of the head is uncomfortable and painfully rubs against the ears (at least on my head). Oh yes, and the fact that I received the item on September 12th and it completely died on November 12th without…

Pros
  • Windsock for minimal breathing.
Cons
  • Long time
