Good: Works on all operating systems I've tried. Bad: - I needed an external USB isolator to reduce static noise. - Both Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 Pro did not install Andrea drivers. - In connection with the above, Andrea's AudioCommander software was not working because it did not recognize the device as belonging to Andreas. So either it's not that good overall, I got a bad one, or the seller doesn't actually ship Andrea. Mechanism. I can't say which. Andrea's support was useless. They…

Best of several brands tested

Record instructional videos on your laptop for work. I've tried similar devices including those from Sabrent (the loudest and doesn't work at all on some laptops), Turtle Beach (worked on my old laptops, useless on new ones), Audio-Technica (an improvement but still noisy), and Plantronics (OK). This is best for noise reduction when recording - the noise is still there, but so little that it can be easily removed in Audacity or just ignored. My son also has one that he uses as a headphone amp…
