The gap was too narrow to use even the small L-shaped Allen keys that come with the furniture being assembled. I looked in the usual big hardware stores but couldn't find anything. I've seen these, they're a little more expensive but these hex eyelets look nice and are solid, with a retaining clip to keep them from falling off. If you're tired of loosening small 2.5mm hex screws with a standard L-shaped hex wrench, this job will do. Use a regular allen wrench to drive the bolt in and use it for final tightening - works great!
