I have a garage and assemble several motorcycles and cars. My mechanic advised me to get a grinder. He said we'll need it one day. It works fine but they give you tools to hold the shaft instead of a lock knob, which surprised me. I hate having a special tool for my tools, it's just more things to lose. But this works great, also uses a lot of air, so make sure you have a big tank. I have a small tank with a big motor and it just can't compete with this grinder. It's very smooth and works great with pressure to spec. I really like how it feels in my hands and the feel of control with the lever is fantastic.
The other day I finally got a chance to try this little grinder on a woodworking project. It's coupled to a 100 psi oil compressor. At 100 psi this grinder develops enough torque to handle a cutting wheel fairly easily to cut through softer wood, although it breaks off when the pressure drops to 50-60 - no surprise!
