The beauty of the case, but a missed opportunity

This case is very well made. The materials are first class and the optics too. The cutouts are as precise as can be (although the Argon1 Neo is absolutely perfect). A plastic side means you're wireless. Plenty of space for a hat or other useful compact additions. My biggest problem, however, is the cooling slip. They have a solid and thick aluminum body that doesn't get hot. Don't get me wrong, the top row and big bottom slots are nice, but what a missed opportunity. If you have room for a…

Very nice case for Raspberry Pi 4

I use it with Yahboom Raspberry Pi RGB fan with optional LCD and it fits perfectly. The display is easy to read through the transparent cover. (https://www.amazon.com/Yahboom-Intelligent-Temperature-Programmable-Light(Quiet)/dp/B085RMLFCL/ref=sr_1_2?crid=M7GXNXMAF56Q&dchild=1&keywords=yahboom+raspberry+pi+rgb+cooling+hat&qid= 1593647004&sprefix=yah+boom+ra%2Caps%2C174&sr=8-2 It's a little tricky fitting the brass radiator stands into the corners of the case, but I found a matching socket and…

Excellent but read the fine print for what it is

This is an excellent case made from anodized billet aluminum (heavy!). Once installed, all of the Pi's connectors are perfectly centered in their slots. Rubber feet fit into profiled pockets on the bottom of the case. The attention to detail is amazing. Do note, however, that the top is not glass but laser-cut acrylic, which they mention in the materials section of their comparison, but I was expecting glass in some reviews. The images in the description are renderings with perfectly shiny…

Elegant and durable body.

This case is very well designed/built. Heavy aluminum body that doubles as a heat synchronizer. I'm using a Raspberry 4 as a PiHole server and it has a fan hat installed so this case is perfect for my use case. While the Pi and fan hat would fit perfectly in this case, the included 3mm standoffs helped raise the top cover just enough to allow for better fan exhaust! For my Next Steam Link Raspberry Pi project, I will definitely choose the black version of this case. I've used a few cases in the

Beautiful design! the best among computer cases

Yes, it's more expensive than a lot of cheap cases, but for me the pros are: You don't have to glue a heatsink on top of your board - so if you later need one HAT or need to "recycle" the PI for another use, there is no thread (or heatsink) attached to it. - You don't need a fan. No noise, less power consumption. This case is clean and, shall we say: beautiful design. The housing is very well made.-and. I can still use the GPIO with a 40 pin flat cable through the air vent. This is the third…

Good case - problems if you plan to add HAT

This is a nice metal case for PI 4b. However, I had two issues with the case: 1. The case does not provide thermal conduction to passively draw heat away from the CPU, GPU, and memory chips. It also does not include heatsinks. 2. You screw the PI into the case first. This makes it very difficult to align the PI and HAT pins and push them against the PI. With HAT installed, heat dissipation inside the case becomes even more problematic.
