Very realistic looking, sturdy and unlike cheap plastic animals they all stand on their own. My daughter is seeded with animals and it has been a great success.

As a teacher, I'm always looking for toys that encourage creative play. They are well made and comfortable for little hands. They come in families, making them ideal for teaching the juxtaposition and concepts of big and small. Paint looks realistic and they have given my piano hours of fun and imaginative playing.

Bought these expecting hard numbers. Some of the baby animals are tough, but the larger ones are definitely hollow. The tall giraffe is stunning. Elephant mother and baby elephant are almost the same size. All in all it's a good set to decorate a cake or some kids, but if you want super tough animals for class don't get them. Very disappointed in this price range.

My grandson loves looking at animal photos and knows all the names so I thought I'd give him this little set. He loves to! Remember these are not collectibles or art. These are cheap plastic parts with dubious markings hastily drawn. But in our case it wasn't a deal breaker. These pets represent good value for money. All of them are fairly light, low quality, decent paintwork and detailing - for the price. I wanted these for my 3 year old daughter who loves to play with "families" and they will suit her with tiger, cheetah and lion as they come with cubs.
