Anker Protector Extension PowerExtend 6 Outlets Review

This is a well designed extension with great features that really fits our journey. While it's not the smallest or most compact device, it's great for a large family that stays in one place for days. Okay, so anyone can plug their stuff in and it's a really great little device. Highly recommended!

When I travel, I never know what configuration I'll need to plug in my laptop, charge my phone, charge my iPad, and maybe help my coworkers (or spouses) their solution is not, can reach almost every point of sale in the airport, hotel and conference room. My only complaint is that it's not puppy proof, but it's on me! I had to replace my cubic version and am almost glad it ruined it because the thinner profile makes it easier to pack and carry.

I bought this to go to a music festival where I knew I would have power in my tent. I could use the USB ports to charge my phone and GoPro and use the connector for the fan. It worked great. Like everything from Anker, it's well made. I won't be using it but I like that it comes with double sided tape to attach to a table or other surface. This is a large size and the fact that the sockets are on each side of the cube makes it ideal for many different plugs. Don't worry about blocking the outlet with a large plug. Plus packaging. I don't know why I like that the box fits the inside of the USB ports, I just love it! Strip stopped working 3 months after purchase. I first contacted Revain and the rep kept hanging up on Anker, claiming my privacy was at stake. I then exchanged 10 emails with Anker support in the last week including 2 different order screenshots from Revain because they needed more details. In the end I was told to print the strip, pack it and give it to my postman, which I did, but Anker still claims the package wasn't scanned and they won't send me a new one. If you know Anker, you know that everything they do is of the highest quality and this is no different. If you don't know Anker, I just summarized it for you in the first sentence. You could probably get a similar product for less, but you get what you pay for. This surge protector is exactly what I was looking for to put on a relatively small caged table. It has fast charging, which I like, and more outlets than you might think for something so small. The only thing I didn't like was the size of the plug. It's larger than a typical surge protector, and it looks like the increase is purely due to the style of the plug and not its functionality.
